CARE (Chattanooga Area Resource & Education) Project

CARE supports families in their quest for information and assistance using a variety of methods. Direct contacts are made with parent and professionals through phone calls, emails, and use of facebook. CARE staff or volunteer parent mentors attend IEP, IFSP, and Service Plan meetings with parents and caregivers to support their efforts and model appropriate communication skills. CARE staff also meets with families face to face in a mentoring/consultative capacity.
